But where has the dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg gone?
It was there in etch, but not in lenny. Are there any other ways to select a different display driver if gui is not loading?

I don't remember the names of drivers and what I usually do was trial and error in etch with dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg.
Also, there aren't much display configurations in the default xorg.conf file. So, where are the details of display exactly?
