I thought that the offline web app caching technique was already there in Google Chrome. I guess we will have to wait a bit longer for that.
Anyway, I see that you checked out geolocation feature - but not the wifi geolocation. The IP address is a dead give away about your position. Such services already exist elsewhere. But wifi geolocation is something I am not familiar with. Google is claiming a 200m accuracy with wifi geolocation. I wonder what trick is used. I don't think they are using triangulation (like GPS).
