I am using Debian Lenny on my Dell Inspiron laptop. I need to program PIC18F4550 using its default pins directly using USB. ( I am not using any programmers). But when I plug in the USB its not getting detected. While in my friends' laptops in windows vista its being detected after installing MicroChips driver required for the uC. Can somebody help me out?
