Hi there,

I have a bit different kind of problem.

We have 2 desktops and one laptop in our room and have a Asianet Dataline
connection which uses the ethernet to connect. We have a Netgear wireless
router to share the connection. Wireless is dissabled currently.

The problem is, when i connect the ethernet cable to Laptop(Which runs
Fedora and Lenny) network manager shows connected status. When i take
internet firefox says "Connection Time Out". This is the case with both OS.
I tried connecting in one of the desktops which runs fedora and it works
fine in that.

I tried this laptop in another LAN and it worked fine.

what is wrong? is this related with hardware?

Thanks,
ap
