I tested Pidgin 2.6.1 with voice from the above package in the official pidgin website. vv is enable in mine.
@Mahesh Did you take a system update recently? You should do that. I guess especially farsight and other jingle lib stuffs. do the update and they reinstall pidgin 2.6.1. this would probably solve your problem.
