I got the following error while restarting network service in Ubuntu 8.04
after assigning static ip.

I am not able to access Asianet internet connection now.
When i click on network icon task bar, it shows sending and receiving
packets.

Following is error message.

r...@server1:/home/vimal# sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart
 * Reconfiguring network
interfaces...
  /etc/network/interfaces:3: option with empty value
ifdown: couldn't read interfaces file "/etc/network/interfaces"
/etc/network/interfaces:3: option with empty value
ifup: couldn't read interfaces file "/etc/network/interfaces"

I expect your help to solve this problem.
