Hello Friends...
I have install lucid on my machine, which was having both redhat as well as
xp. After installation xp was there in grub but
redhat is missing. How to solve it??
After running "sudo update-grub" i got the following msg
Generating grub.cfg ...
Found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.32-21-generic
Found initrd image: /boot/initrd.img-2.6.32-21-generic
Found memtest86+ image: /memtest86+.bin
Found Microsoft Windows XP Professional on /dev/sda1
Found Windows NT/2000/XP on /dev/sda3
Found Red Hat Enterprise Linux Client release 5.3 (Tikanga) on /dev/sdb7
done
As you have seen that it is showing redhat in the msg, but i reboot the
system redhat was missing in grub menu.
looking for solution
