Hi all, Thanks for your tips. I am terribly sorry I meant the Nautilus* sidepane*not the *sidebar*, the one that appears in Nautilus file manager which shows all the partitions and mounted devices. I didn't know what it was called, that is why I it led to this confusion. The sidepane is really boring and an eyesore (to me!) an I would really like to change it.
