oops, I forgot to mention that, the DVD was working flawlessly in a native DVD player. Though I don't know if it will work on a windows machine since I don't have one.
Also there is another interesting development. I went to the store where it was purchased and he tested it in a DVD player. It was working fine obviously. Then he told something like, this specific company has some kind of "protection" for its DVD to prevent copying. May be he meant DRM? I am not sure. its quite intriguing anyway.
