Now there are two kind of licenses , restricted and general.
The restricted is limited in power out put compared to general . With
good band condition and proper equipment , you can reach anywhere on the
globe.
My own record is like this.
with 2 watts - vijayavada ( on 40m)
with25 watts Barcelona Spain ( on 20m)
Restricted license is good enough nowadays. If you have a B Tech,
only a part of the exam need to be taken.
