FSUG has been very inactive lately on public front. Come up with some strategies to collaborate with public/schools etc and do some activities.
More importantly, LUGs / FSUGs used to generate a strong programming community as well. So far this has not happened in fsug-tvm. I would like to see that happen. No , I don't mean python workshops, ruby workshops or stuff where people talk. I mean programming. Real programming. Doesn't have to be big. Fix small bugs in free software applications that you use ( Firefox/Libreoffice/<your favorite music player>- most projects have a todo list with priorities Or come up with new sensible ideas that could be implemented in a day or two. Maybe work on packaging some software for your favorite distro. Then there are arduino projects, opportunities to port useeful desktop software to Android, seeing how it is gaining traction etc. Fix the fsug-tvm website :D Anything as long as its programming. -- aashik -- "Freedom is the only law".
