First of all please avoid using capital letters and quoting large amounts of text when mailing to a public mailing list . Hopefully you already are a regular gnome user . To gain the max out of the event try building Gnome from scratch[1] . You would encounter problems , which you can ask in Gnome IRC channels [2]. There is also a project called Gnome Love[4] to help you move ahead . 1. http://library.gnome.org/devel/jhbuild/stable/getting-started.html.en 2. http://live.gnome.org/GnomeIrcChannels 3. http://live.gnome.org/GnomeLove Finally its always nice to have a big picture of Gnome Desktop Environment and an area of interest which you would like to contribute .
