Dear friends I recently customized ubuntu 11.04 and made a distro with some of the most commonly used engg tools latex emacs calibre qtoctave qucs eagle librecad clisp arduino gnusim8085 emu8051 linsmith euler lybniz graph plotter it also has multimedia support and the chrome browser. and has the lxde environment.
Basically i wanted to learn the customization process, but then i gave it a bit of touch myself and i named it vinux 1.0 code named "magnum opus" which means great piece of work ;-) ( well the naming part was just for fun) i don't think its a much serious work as far the guys in this group are concerned, they do even better things. But as they say in malayalam (കാക്കയ്കു തന് കുഞു പൊന് കുഞ് ) So i just wanted to share the news. still i have problem in configuring a new bootsplash and usplash screen i'll be gratefull for any suggestion -- "Freedom is the only law".
