There was something wrong with my last mail. Some mess up with gmail. Anyways, that library file must be installed in /usr/lib64 as opposed to /usr/lib on x86. Perhaps thats the problem. As a temporary hack, try the following from the terminal before you start the Google earth application.
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib64:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH export $LD_LIBRARY_PATH Even if this works, please send a mail/bug report to Google/fedora. -- "Freedom is the only law".
