Hi, Guys i installed Ubuntu 11.10 and there was problem with Wifi from the start. Older Ubuntu had the free drivers and it used to work perfectly, but the new 11.10 has only the propitiatory driver by default and so i had to deactivate it and get again some broadcom drivers for BCM4311 and in /etc/... some where i had to hide an override bcm4311. any way last 24 hrs it woked. today there was a bundle update and i clicked yes to all. now Wifi is not there. Infact when i do lspci wireless device is not detected. Any ideas? thanks
