Thank you very much Parijat, this was a new info to me and based on that i 
have done some googling based on that. Most sites mentioned only how to 
configure hostapd, that still didn't work for me so I did some further 
tweaking and testing of my own and I have found a way to make Androids to 
communicate with Ubuntu over Wifi and share the internet, I have mentioned 
the entire procedure in my blog so in case anyone in future faces my 
situation, it should be easy for them
