Dear friends, I had been using Mint Debian for a long time now and had no problem. Recently it develoed some trouble and I had to reinstall my OS. I chose Debian Wheezy as the base with applications from unstable. This is a configuration that I had tried earlier successfully. Now I find that Evolution mail client that I had been using for a number of years is behaving starangely. Every time I log into my computer and start evolution, it asks me to set up my emails. When I tried starting evolution from a terminal, I get the following error statement:
sasi@localhost:~$ evolution & [1] 3974 sasi@localhost:~$ Migrating cached data Migrating config data Migrating local user data mv /home/sasi/.evolution/mail/vfolder/folders.db /home/sasi/.local/share/evolution/mail/vfolder/folders.db FAILED: Destination file already exists mv /home/sasi/.evolution/mail/local/folders.db /home/sasi/.local/share/evolution/mail/local/folders.db FAILED: Destination file already exists rmdir /home/sasi/.evolution/mail/vfolder FAILED: Directory not empty (contents follows) folders.db rmdir /home/sasi/.evolution/mail/local FAILED: Directory not empty (contents follows) folders.db rmdir /home/sasi/.evolution/calendar-new FAILED: Directory not empty (contents follows) config rmdir /home/sasi/.evolution/tasks-new FAILED: Directory not empty (contents follows) config tasks local rmdir /home/sasi/.evolution/mail FAILED: Directory not empty (contents follows) vfolder local rmdir /home/sasi/.evolution/tasks FAILED: Directory not empty (contents follows) tasks mv /home/sasi/.evolution/categories.xml /home/sasi/.local/share/evolution/categories.xml FAILED: Destination file already exists Has anyone faced a similar problem? Or, does anyone have any clue to what may be going wrong? Any ideas to investigate the trouble? Regards, Sasi -- V.
