----- Forwarded Message ----- Hi All, I had planned to conduct free workshop and training for document management and portal solution in Kochi, as usual this workshops are free of commercial interest directly or indirectly. I chose a venue which was convenient for me, and others in terms of parking and infrastructure. Selecting a different venue had its repercussion. May mails are blocked in the mailing list stating that it is against open source policies. Previously when I conducted my workshop I did not had any issue because I was conducting workshop in thier training center, now when I choose a better place. I am blacklisted. My doubt is that whether Kochi-Lug policy is handled by an individual or is there any group where decision are made. How can I try to post my mail about my tomorrow workshop time If any one knows Kochi-Lug moderators to take some initiative stream line mailing policies.
Please check the forwarded message for moderators explanation about not posting my workshop details Thanks Joseph John http://www.meetup.com/OES-emirates On Friday, 11 April 2014 1:20 PM, "mailinglist-ow...@ilug-cochin.org" <mailinglist-ow...@ilug-cochin.org> wrote: ----- Forwarded Message ----- Your message has been caught up at MailMan. Please check with the Mailing List Moderator about the reason. Thanks . Hi All, The workshop and seminar which I was planning to conduct was 100% free of commercial interest. We have conducted such workshop earlier also, that time it was acceptable, now the same method was followed, but bit disappointed to see it is getting a "Commercial Interest" label. Only difference in the present workshop and previous workshop is that only change of venue. I am afraid such policies may def-rag the community and the credibility of the office bearers. As I had said about my workshop, it is free of commercial interest directly or indirectly. I would like to sincerely request the office bearers to shed their personal interest and think about the community For the community Joseph John On Friday, 11 April 2014 7:23 AM, "coordina...@ilug-cochin.org" <coordina...@ilug-cochin.org> wrote: To The GNU/Linux community, ILUG-Cochin is a purely charitable organisation.
