Hi friends,

Recently I bought a Digisol 3g USB datacard 9DG-BA 3314. When connected to
my xubuntu 12.04, it was neither recognized as a 3G modem, nor as a CD rom.
However I was able to copy the included software by some other means and
ran the install.sh script. The installation went on without any problems &
I was able to access internet. But my issues are following:

1. I have a 3G data plan (BSNL) but I get only GPRS (less than 5kbps) speed
(not even EDGE).

2. While installation, it didn't ask for APN or any related data, so I
don't know the connection was configured properly. Still able to browse net
at low speed.

3. There was no instructions provided with the software, so I have no idea
on how to connect & disconnect the net. Sometimes when the connection
drops, it doesn't come back at all. Most annoying thing is there is no
notification about the network status. So I dont even know whether I'm
connected to internet or not.

Please help...
