Hi friends, I am trying to build a media center using raspberry pi 2. I want to autostart a media player (for now I am using Kodi in Raspbian), play an intro video in which towards the end, prompts for a user input say 1, 2, 3 etc... I'm planning to use a 4x4 membrane keypad for input. When a key is pressed, corresponding video should play.
So far I have managed to autostart Kodi & autoload a playlist. I have also found certain tutorials that shows how to connect a 4x4 keypad to Pi, though I haven't yet tried out that yet.
