windows defender will try to stop you from installing it.......turn off 
windows security essentals and unplug from the internet to install and it

easier to install the network adapter drivers and the visiontek/realtek 
audio version 6.0 this way......I long ago got rid of internet explorer or 
it will alsi interfere for certain
