What is the filesystem? ext3 or reiserfs or windows filesystems? Is the hard disk is detected in bios? More chances are there to recover the data. There are a lot of tools available in linux to recover the data. In most of the times, a simple boot with a live cd and mount the drives will recover all the data. give here the details of the filesystem and crash history. let us try. -- dear, T.Shrinivasan My experiences with Linux are here http://goinggnu.wordpress.com For Free and Open Source Jobs http://fossjobs.wordpress.com _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe <password> <address>" in the subject or body of the message. http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
