cant do that; this mail server serves other users, including lots of clueless users who join and invite others to yaari etc etc. it is to be noted that the mail comes with a from address of the user who is 'inviting' us to yaari. and, these invites just keep coming. the only way is to throw those id's out of the list and ban them from re-subscribing. interested users can always get themselves a new id and subscribe that - thats the price they pay for spamming the list. i am tempted to do this unilaterally, but i would like the group opinion on this. any user spamming the list with invites from yaari / hi-5 whatever shall be immediately unsubscribed and also banned from subscribing in future - yes / no if you would like to give your opinion in confidence (private mail to me) thats fine too. sriram list admin _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, email ilugc-requ...@ae.iitm.ac.in with "unsubscribe <password> <address>" in the subject or body of the message. http://www.ae.iitm.ac.in/mailman/listinfo/ilugc
