Hi all,

One of my friend in IIT somehow deleted his old thesis directory
contains important files.

He maintained a tab seperated .txt files as plot inputs. He mapped those
.txt files with his Tex/LateX or some other tool to draw graph. The
filenames are used to indicate what type of plot to draw with the
contents as inputs.

He is using openSuSE with 95GB ext3 partition. Using 'photorec' I
recovered files with .txt, .odt, .sxw, .pdf and lot of extensions. But
the problem is, I recovered the plot input .txt files with filenames
like 'f1102345642.txt'. Original filename was lost.

Google points me to photorec, ext3undel, foremost. But they are all
recovering the contents of the file, but not the filenames. Is there any
way to recover files including filenames?

Thanks,
Mohan.
