Tesseract is an open source OCR which support 6 lang. around the world. In this project ,we are going to implement Tamil lang. in the ocr ,,,so the scanned tamil images can be converted to editable text which will more useful to tamil news papers and magazines,, And a GUI is to be designed for Tesseract which may help the beginners to use the product,, Expecting guidance from everyone and still expecting more Tamil projects in Open Source
