> sensors command will work on both desktops and laptops. It is one of the
standard way to measure system temperature in GNU/Linux systems.
For the sensors command to work you need to have the "lm-sensors" package
installed.
After installing the lm-sensors package you need to run the command
"sensors-detect" in root mode to detect the various sensors available in
your system.
