Hi, I recently had a problem with my motherboard and replaced it with a new one. After that the audio stopped working. I used alsaconf to reconfigure it again with no success. After that I recently did a fresh install of ubuntu 10.10. Now when I play something a loud noise is heard from the speaker. But the song is also playing behind the noise. I used alsamixer and checked, the PCM level is 100%. I can't raise master or other controls. The Audio controller from lspci output is this,
