Prima facie it seems, your CentOS did not install completely i.e. it's
grub seems to be broken.  What you are likely experiencing is the
first stage of grub (from your Ubuntu install) trying to find the
Ubuntu boot files and not finding them.

I would suggest that you use a rescue CDROM/USB stick and repair the
grub with "grub-install"  *or* edit the grub line to point to
filenames installed by CentOS (vmlinuz image and the initrd ramdisk
file).  If this seems to be a daunting task then reinstall CentOS and
watch for any errors (if any).
