Hi,

Since Fedora 14 has automatic display configuration, which works without 
xorg.conf. So, you can try deleting all xorg.conf and xorg.conf backup files. 
But make sure that you create a backup of a working xorg.conf. You can also try 
using system-config-display, as super user when you're in run-level 3 w/o a 
running X.
