This is like the classic case of a truck stuck in wet mud :) The Fedora DVD image fits into a single layer DVD media. If your unit is having problems with single layer then it is RIP most likely. Do the following: 1. Boot from a bootable CD ROM? yes/no 2. Boot from a single layer bootable DVD (any distro will do)? yes/no 3. Insert a CD ROM for reading (booted into any OS from HDD/USB)? yes/no 4.
