hi, I have fedora on my system with the following partitions: /, /home, /var and swap. Also some free space. I wanted to install another distro in the free space. First I tried with mint - it said that no preexisting installation exists and wanted to format the disk afresh. Next I tried with Mandriva - this recognised the existing partitions, but I could not find any option to make it install in the free space. Any one has some experience in this? -- regards Kenneth Gonsalves
