There are basically two types of installs that people do in any PC. Single boot and Multiboot. Single Boooting involves using only one OS, like Windows only or Linux only. Multibooting involves using two operating systems like Windows and Linux or Two Linux systems in the same computer and choosing the operating system when powering on the computer. Choose your way first, do you want a Linux only or a Linux+Windows combination. Then use *Google* for that type of installation. There are a lot of tutorials and help available online.
