To my knowledge, rsync works great with unidirectional updates. I guess
there are options for update and delete, but I have doubts regarding
working with two masters. I would be very happy if there is some method in
which I can use just rsync. Love that tool.

GUI is not an issue. In fact both the systems are servers and I have not
even installed X windows.
