I guess some people have noticed that http://kde.org/announcements/4.11/ is dedicated to Atul Chitnis, organiser of FOSS.in and Linux Bangalore . KDE India definitely had its seeds sown thanks to not just the space given by the event FOSS.in but also the later support which Atul Chitnis gave with KDE events .
This also reminds me of KG and his python community efforts .
