Dear All, On July 2, 2014, FSFTN conducted an orientation programme for 1st year UG Tamil Literature students at Loyola College, Chennai. Around 60 students participated in the event. The students were given a presentation on the following topics:
1.Tamil Computing 2.Tamil Wikipedia 3.Free Software and Freedom The reception was awesome as the students were very enthusiastic and receptive to the ideas. Many of them were also eager to work in this area. FSFTN hopes to carry on the work in the institution. FSFTN would like to thank the students and staff, especially Prof. Dr. S.Amalraj and Anthony Selvanathan.S, HoD, Tamil department, for their cooperation and looks forward to working with Tamil department in various colleges .
