According to http://sourceforge.net/projects/talend-studio/ The license was GPLv2 until v5.3.X and changed to LGPLv3 since v5.4 The license was LGPLv3 from v5.4 to v5.5.X and changed to Apache License v2 since v5.6 Hence you may have to check about the "charges" for the version you find useful.
