Don't have such a low opinion of your own code :-) If it does what you say it does, its good. It becomes great when others too can understand what it does without asking you. That comes with experience writing code. The second best way to improve your code is to read stalwart's code. Just don't let it feel ashamed of your own code. They are stalwarts and its not wrong not to be like them!
