HI guys i have installed redhat linux 8.0 on my computer. it has a Intel 845 m/b with onboard sound and display card. the manufacturer of the mother board its intel. the display is working correctly but sound is not detected. it gives the following message.
Sound Card detected model - intel corp|82801DB AC the error given is /lib/modules/2.4.18-14/kernel/drivers/sound/i810-audio.0:initmodule:no such device /lib/modules/2.4.18-14/kernel/drivers/sound/i810-audio.0:insmod/lib/module/2.4.18-14/kernel/drivers/sound/i810-audio.0 failed /lib/modules/2.4.18-14/kernel/drivers/sound/i810-audio.0 insmod sound-lot-0 failed.
