Hi All, Can anybody help me to find out the free space in a tape drive. How to know the available free space in tape drive ? I am using tar command to take backup on tape. Now "tar tfv /dev/st0" only shows the tape drive content, but does not give the empty space available. So how to know the available free space left out in tape drive ??
