dear all,
after struggling for nearly 1.5 years in bouts and spurts, have finally got my dvd-rom to play dvd movies under gnulinux.
have still to figure out how to get those 4.1 speakers working (only 2 work for the moment)
I read on one of the lists that you can get the rest of the speakers working if you get alsa working and then using alsa mixer to un-mute those speakers.
