My 0.02 Rupees

what is the output of "service portmap status" on the CLIENT pc in your
case RH 7.3 ?

Also what is the output of "service nfs status" on the server RH 8 ?
Does the above include a line rpc.rquotad (pid ***) is running???

Triple check the firewalls although according to your previous mail you
have already done this on both the client and sever. But still check
them again.

Try nmapping the server from the client and vice versa. Send the output.
