The drab Minutes of meeting ( missing AshLin's pictorial messages ) The venue was easily reachable and the Linux Meet posters' guided us right into the venue although Naba still lost his way a couple of times. Meeting started(after a few hiccups) with Raj explaining something about Linux and the Open Source Philosophy to the newbies (yawn!!). LinuxLingam ( arrived late!!: may ILUGD forgive him his sins) and spoke beyond his time limit but mesmerized the audience with his convincing arguments in favour of a gearing up through the Seven Steps to Samadhi and a lot of Gyan. LinuxLingam spoke to a packed hall of 60 people and the rest spilling into the sideways trying to catch a glimpse of the renowned author of the 7 steps to samadhi(ILUGD bless their souls) We had a demo of Knoppix by Kishore. Installation of Redhat Linux Distribution was also demo'ed. Redhat linux 9/Knoppix CDs/Gnuwin II were bought by the attendees like hot cakes. So were the proposed T-Shirts( with a little coaxing--seperate report on that) Jug-Delhi also attended the Linux Delhi meet in strength(though they were outnumbered by 10:1) And a lot of interesting happenings which couldn't get press here due lack of bandwidth.
