Windows does not allow another operating system. If you want to dual boot Windows and Linux Windows had to be installed first. That was the case before and it was working ...
Since you re-installed Windows It overwrote the MBR (Master boot record) and information to boot Linux is lost. Windows is a very pretty (not all but XP) and selfish OS. Read this ... http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/RHL-9-Manual/install-guide/s1-x86-dualboot-install.html It says you should start Linux installation "After Windows is installed and you have free disk space ready for Linux" ... Now I guess you have reinstall Linux again. Before that make a backup copy of your data on your Linux partitions if you can acess them.
