How I can do java programming in Linux. I have downloaded "*.bin" Java
package but how to run it.
sh xxx.bin
(replace xxx.bin with the actual file name)
you will get a rpm file at the end of this. Install this rpm, and you will have java installed in your machine under /usr/java(you might have to change your $PATH variable if you just want to type java at the prompt)
