Hi,

I got some feedback about the event from some friends who visited Linux-Asia

The feedback was not so encouraging. According to them, the focus seemed to
get more and more business from the Govt. sector. It was all commercial
opiented event and the free/OSS concepts/fundas were kept aside.

Considering the new methods of putting trade-mark stuff and
corporate/business distributions etc, looks like it is all about money now.

What is your feedback/feelings about this.

Well, lets continue working for the free/oss stuff and not just for business
out of it. thats what LUG are all about, Right?

btw, we have a event here in Pune on 28,29 called GNUnify. Check this out:

www.plug.org.in

bye for now
