Depending on when this is, and what other people are speaking about, I could conceivably talk about iptables/netfilter.
We have had talks on this before, but I would love it if some one could talk about snort. Not the matter of installing it, which is trivial. But of writing snort rules, with examples of how to report the recent viral/worm activities.
