You can download Debian for the Alpha architecture: http://ftp.au.debian.org/pub/debian-cd/images/3.0_r2/alpha/ I've heard of some earlier releases of Debian stalling on Alpha boxes, but I think 3.0r2 should be okay -- might want to Google for details.
