Hello Amit, It did not help.
Actually what we want is that if for any reason some types a wrong local email ID along with other valid email IDs, mail should be delivered to valid IDs and there should be a non-delivery POP up for invalid ID. This is how it used to happen in Exchange server.. I guess Sandip Bhattacharya also faced similar problem but am not sure if the problem was solved.. regards anil On Tue, 2004-04-20 at 18:06, Amit Sharma wrote: > open /etc/mail/virtusertable > put an entry as > @yourdomain.com <tab><tab> [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > where abc is valid account on your server. > > restart sendmail. > > confirm please. > > amit > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > > --- anil bindal <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hi all, > > > > Sendmail does not deliver the email to any of the > > local recipients if > > any of the ID is non-deliverable. > > > > But it does deliver to local recipient if other IDs > > are non-local > > > > What is the fix to this bizarre behavior ?? > > > > We would like sendmail to deliver the email to > > deliverable local > > recipients even if one Email ID typed is wrong.
