You need not reboot the OS. Just restarting the lisa daemon would suffice

First, RTFM /usr/share/doc/lisa/README*
You need to configure lisa before you start using it, as per your network. The 
simplest way would be to open up KControlCenter => Internet & Network => 
Local Network Browsing
Click on the "Lisa Daemon" tab and probably the "Suggest Settings" button 
should do the work.
