Why are you stealing the "DLINK 502T DSL modem on Linux" thread ? In case, you have no clue what hijacking the thread means, see http://mm.bbspals.org/general/message-recycling.html for a nice explanation (with nice figures).

I have started a new thread for you. lease use it for further discussion

I am planning to host my website from my home itself
Initial I tried this with tata indicom ...it gave static IP per session alright ..but whenever I booted I had different IP......also tata indicom is too expensive for unlimilted usage (@128 is 6000 mo) ... I am considering hathway(they claim to give static IP) or airtell
which one is better .....If you have any experience of similar type

Dynamic IPs are just one of your problem, and one that can be easily solved by using a service like Dyndns http://www.dyndns.org/services/dyndns/ .

However, have you considered the problem of security ? Will you be able to lock down your system ?

Next is the problem of availability. Will you be able to run your system 24x7x365 ? Just think of the electricity bill (or do you have an alt. plan on how to escape the electricity bill ;-) ).

Next is the problem of bandwidth. Unless you are just dishing out static html pages with only text, your visitors will face long delays while the page loads.
